Home Care
At Ready Enable, we offer two types of home care services
giving you and your family flexibility and choice:
Aged care support funded through the Australian Government’s Support at Home program
Privately funded home care,
arranged directly with you
Both options are designed to support independence, dignity, and quality of life.
We are committed to providing inclusive and affirming care for LGBTQIA+ people and their families.
This means:
- Respecting each person’s gender identity, sexual orientation, and relationships
- Using preferred names and pronouns
- Providing care that is free from discrimination, bias, or judgement
- Creating a safe environment where people can be themselves
We understand that some older LGBTQIA+ people may have had past experiences of discrimination. Our goal is to ensure care feels safe, affirming, and respectful at all times.
Aged Care Support at Home
Government-Funded Aged Care – Support at Home Program
The Support at Home program is the Australian Government’s new aged care program, designed to help older Australians remain living at home for longer.
If you are eligible, government funding may help cover the cost of services such as:
- Help with everyday tasks around the home
- Personal care and daily living support
- Support to stay active and socially connected
Private Home Care
Privately funded home care gives you full flexibility, without waiting for government approvals or assessments.
This option may suit you if:
- You are not eligible for government funding
- You are waiting for Support at Home services to commence
- You would like extra support beyond your funded services
- You prefer complete choice and control over your care
Privately funded home care allows you to:
- Choose services when you need them
- Increase or decrease support easily
- Access short-term or long-term assistance
- Arrange care quickly and simply
